Yo it’s Joe!
Joe Farago is a student working towards a BFA animation degree at the School of Visual Arts with an expected graduation in May 2025. While there, he has won multiple awards at the Animation Department’s “Undies” film festival and has directed several films. Before starting at SVA, Joe lived in Massachusetts, which has pioneered his lifelong obsession with spooky Halloween media.
While Joe’s main focus is working as a 3D Generalist and Story Artist, he is also constantly making films in his free time. Joe tries to utilize his multi-media skills as much as possible in his films to develop the visuals and horror elements further. Joe is heavily inspired by fall-themed works such as “Over The Garden Wall”. The earthy colors and gothic themes show an impact in all of his films. Joe is also skilled in music theory and often spends his evenings crafting goofy Halloween songs. He plans to use his cryptic visual storytelling to work as a 3D Generalist/storyboard artist at studios like Adult Swim and Titmouse.
